The Lore

Music is our life because it’s part of the cultural heritage of the Virtunes. We’re a race of aspiring musicians born with an innate talent for music and a deep love for the power it has in bringing people together.

Before the war between the high society and rebels destroyed the land of the Virtunes, we had a thriving community. Music rang through the streets of our villages, combining into something more powerful than the sum of each piece. But what many of our race forgot is that music is also the source of our power. Now, more than any other time in our history, our people need to draw on the strength that created us.

Those of us now living in the slums are what’s left after a war that ravaged our land. The high society and rebels waged their battles in the only place neither cared to acquire: the lands where the Virtunes settled. Our home is now a shadow of its former greatness.

Our kind is still alive, but barely. We’re still connected to our musical roots and find beauty in it. We need to draw on the power that created our species in order to ensure its survival. But it won’t be easy. The factions have never united in the history of our species and their differences could destroy our progress. But together we will unite to bring back music to the metaverse.

What Genre?

This is only the first collection of the Virtunes story.

Our first generation focuses on a collection in the style of "space RnB".

Future collections will be focused around other genres that our community will vote for.
